Listening to the first Roses album right now, him and Reni made the band swing like no other. John Robb's (?) description of him as 'garrulous' always stuck with me. Had the pleasure of seeing him a few times with the Scream and the first 2 Roses Heaton Park shows in 2012. Absolutely gutted, RIP.

Enjoyed the article, thanks. I got an Alex Kidd SMS2 for my birthday in 1992 and the vast majority of people I knew had one over a NES too. Many happy memories of Sonic, Alex Kidd, Lucky Dime Caper etc. I have one hooked up to my OLED TV via a RetroTINK 4K scaler now and have discovered more gems.

It was the only 5th gen console I had access to (via a friend) but I never really appreciated it fully at the time. It's only now with ODEs and fan-translated games that I've been able to appreciate just how good it is.

Don't have the time or inclination to post much on social media any more but nice to finally see BlueSky taking off. Twitter is just overrun with bots and the new block rules are BS.

Been updating my Dreamcast cheats file throughout the year and have finally got round to releasing it. It's now far too big to fit on a VMU so only for use with openMenu.
