While everybody else is busy rebuilding the world of Pokemon, we're taking a trip back to outer space this weekend!
Join me this Saturday at 2pm PST, as we begin our playthrough of Super Mario Galaxy 2! With the movie less than a month away, this feels fitting, I think!
Hope to see y'all there!
Wow. Even though I've been at it for roughly half an hour, I actually think I'm not in the right headspace to draw this morning.
So, I think I'm just gonna take a break today and come back to this particular project later in the week.
Man, that's heartbreaking.
There's a link to the GoFundMe in the replies, if you're curious or want to help.
Can't stop Leon now. He's havin' such a good time.

Interesting that this will be a $50 game when the last one was literally only a buck.
Konami, you're so funny.
I would've said Teen Titans Go, since that's Cartoon Network's cash cow these days.
Plus, it looks like Looney Tunes may be moving over to Tubi.
One thing the Live Action One Piece NEEDS to do; Call the final Island "Raftal."
The real name of the One Piece's location NEEDS to be kept a surprise to be revealed during Oden and Roger's backstory. Don't make the same mistake as Stampede and treat it like common knowledge.
Oda, don't fail us.
According to numerous pages I've seen on Facebook, Brook has already been cast for One Piece Live Action.
Considering the first season has numerous teases for long-time fans, I can see Laboon and Crocus getting a flashback of the Rumbar Pirates earlier than Brook's official reveal.
I know I said a commission would be a deciding factor in getting Pokopia, but what I mean is it'll inspire me to expedite that purchase.
Honestly, I don't mind waiting until an empty month to get that game, which, depending on when Yoshi releases, could be May or June.
My budget ain't hurtin'.
The ability to play my Switch 2 for 4-5 hours for under $20? Yes, please!

I could be wrong, but we've gone long enough without an update on Yoshi & the Mysterious Book that I can honestly see that game getting its own Direct. That feels like something we could get at the middle point of this month.
It could just as easily be an overview trailer, though. We'll find out.
I know I said April, but I'm safely assuming that Yoshi & the Mysterious Book is launching in May, so I basically mean we're good up until June.
Plus, we could get another Switch 2 Edition upgrade in June, so there's another thing to satiate us until the next Direct.
It's a little funny that people responded to Indie World with "Direct when," and its lineup had cool games to show.
Not only that, but we've got a monthly Nintendo release thru April and three Resident Evil games released on the same day. We're not exactly starved for content right now.
Ninja Gaiden 4 already has DLC, and meanwhile, I'm like, "When is this game coming to Switch 2?"

I feel the exact same way.
Third-party remasters / remakes in general might also be tall orders, now that I think about it.
Part of me hopes Pokopia eventually gets DLC to represent Gen 10 with some of its Pokemon, even though Pokemon games historically have never done that.
Though, if Unite can be updated to add Pokemon from Gen 9, I guess never say never in such cases like this.
I feel it bears repeating, but if Virtual Boy can make a comeback on Switch and Switch 2, then so should NES Zapper and Super Scope. They don't even need their own app, just allow for Joy-Con Pointer controlls or sell an optional add-on.
And while I'm at it, same with Hey You Pikachu and a USB Mic.
I wholeheartedly agree with this take. Like, eventually getting Advance Wars 1 and 2 shouldn't devalue the hard work Wayforward put into that remake. The same is the case here. Especially since Link's Awakening paved the way for Echoes of Wisdom.

I've just always loved the novelty that Bayonetta was an "adopted" Nintendo IP, so if the next entry were to go back to belonging to Platinum, there's always that part of me that's going to grumble like an old man despite begrudgingly supporting it.
The Bayo1 remake can probably go for the throat.
Would it be so bad if Bayonetta 4 was multiplatform? Probably not, especially if it meant Platinum could buy back the license, but there's still that selfish part of me that wants to see this IP stay exclusive to Nintendo, even though the series didn't exactly sell super great on Switch.

Let me give some expanded thoughts on the Bayonetta Remake + 4 Rumor, because I will admit, a lot of my doubts come from personal bias.
Nintendo was the company to fund Bayonetta 2 when nobody else would, and since then, the series following would maintain exclusivity, excluding the first game.
Literally, the Grinch being fed despite begging the Who's to stop.
