Country-led evaluation to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals : A guide for evaluation commissioners, managers and evaluators Ocampo, Ada; Heinonen, Nea-Mari; Hoffmann, Dirk; Rossmueller, Thomas (2025-03-05). This guidebook – co-produced by the Development Evaluation, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, The German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval), IDEAS, and UNICEF – provides a step-by-step guide on conducting evaluations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It emphasizes the role of national governments in steering the evaluation process in a participatory way. Building on examples and lessons from several countries around the world, it aims to serve as a practical, hands-on resource for evaluation commissioners, managers and evaluators.
