So this past weekend I achieved the unthinkable and completed my first ever Ultramarathon. I did Run Sandringham 24 in memory of my mum and managed 50 miles!

Was feeling energetic yesterday so opted to run the 6.6km to #Parkrun before my actual #Parkrun

Thank you. I thought it had healed up. Still strapped it but felt it go. Was about 10th from last but was being either a. Determined (me) or b. A stubborn git (my wife)

First #HalfMarathon of the year in the bag. #GreatBentleyHalfMarathon. My calf decided to tear again halfway round and so I was left to Jog/Hobble the final 10k. Great Marshalling, Amazing Organisation... Hate the wooden medal though...
