Double Figure Friday! Last NPCs of the week to help you run this adventure (*wink, nudge*). Here are deputies Tenebris and Yulis, loyal to Sheriff Voss, but none too happy about a party of strangers poking their nose in town business... and... uh... why are their eyes glowing like that? 😬

Another NPC the party may meet, Agnes Kestle, wife of the alleged murderer. Desperate to remain in the Mayor's fine manor house, and despondent about her husband's potential fate, she will be happy to pay the party to help prove his innocence. Or will she inadvertently point toward his guilt?

It was a very arduous task, because there were so many aspirations for so much great content, but we've come to a decision on our micro grants!

The recipients have been notified, and we'll be highlighting their work once they've all accepted!

Who else might you meet in this adventure? Sheriff Voss, the captain of the city's watch, as well as its chief inspector. Sympathetic to the mayor's plight, he still has a duty to uphold justice. Can the party sway him to allow them take on the investigation?

Another NPC you might wish to meet - Nicholas Kestle, deposed mayor of the city, awaiting trial for the murder of his brother. He was found over the body, but swears he didn't do it. Can you solve the crime? Why so much security for an old mayor, & what kind of literature do they have in this place?

While on this inspired task, I am going to start creating some NPC depictions that might be helpful for anyone running the adventure. Here's Elva, the librarian, who may or may not be able to help a party find some much needed information on the small city where it takes place. 👀
