#watercolor #art I painted these today using my old driver license, a silicone tool for blending oil pastels, and a dip pen and India ink. Each uses a 4-color palette of Benzimidazolone Burnt Orange, Phthalo Turquoise, Sepia and Neutral Tint.

Life is funny. I've been blogging as a full-time job since 2007. And in January of this year, I began painting as a way to relieve stress. And now, I make art. And people are loving it and buying it. At the very least, it's a new side gig. It's nuts, but also awesome! #painting #art

Y'all, I have started to draw again. I hadn't drawn anything in decades, but we took a Bob Ross painting class in December, and I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a monthly SketchBox. Between that and some other supplies I own, I've drawn these. I am so, so happy to be drawing again! #art #drawing

I would suggest that that doesn't matter. They have turned on him because they see him for who and what he is. The two of them give me hope that more *may* do the same. Pointing out that their former emperor is naked is a great practice, and I applaud them.

Yeah, guess we have to work through the anger to get to a point of dispassionate effectiveness. Which isn't as meme-worthy but is actually useful.

I came here to get away from all the trolls in the bad place, but here it's all "fuck Trump" all the time with everyone cheering each other on. Seems like just another echo chamber. Who is doing substantive work to actually get the D message out in a way that doesn't alienate people?

For waffle fans: I am testing recipes to make The Best. So far, yeast-raised waffles are so much better than baking powder waffles for flavor and crispy outsides. So in case you were wondering, yes, make yeast-raised waffles.

I wondered the same, and I looked for progressive churches in my area. It was a good call. Even though I'm not religious and haven't been to a church in decades, it feels like a good fit.
