And, damn, that game is dark.

Gorgeous graphics, interactive story set in Scandi folklore.

You get to save little gnomes with their cute hats and giggles.

Then watch a troll viciously stamp them.

Gruesome gfx, too.

Ah, like iPhones missing a headphone jack, but you can buy an adapter from them.

Has anyone ever learned why Windows 11 decided that people don't print anymore, so they'll remove the CTRL+P shortcut and hide the print menu command under a second layer of popup menu?

Because whoever did it has booked themselves their own entire circle of hell.

Well. Had not one but TWO "book club" scam emails today.

What amused me was how they both used the same wrong name for my book.

He is, but he's also a bit useless, too 🤣 He's quite young and inexperienced, but has been trained to kill without remorse.

Doesn't stop him making mistakes, like falling hopelessly in love with one of his targets.

Beth is warm and friendly, and doesn't really do enemies.

Yevgeny is a ruthless assassin and spy, so he's much more prone to making enemies, particularly with ex-friends.

Wikus has one friend: the AI he wrote. Everyone else are just tools, so he makes enemies everywhere.

Ooh, this has brought back memories.

A lockable disk box, full of 5.25" floppy disks? Was the source of pure joy as a kid, for me.

Especially as loading from disk was far faster and stable than cassette.

Been trying some great PC game demos recently.

Atmosfar is a fun twist on craft/explore, flying a tiny chopper through floating islands.

Will: Follow the Light has sailing and practical puzzles.

Map Map is a cozy cartographer's dream.

And Windrose is just a brilliant pirate/explore/craft game.

Been playing the Windrose demo on Steam and it's so good.

As a demo, it's huge, but just as a game, it's fantastic.

Wow, this cold has only just started and already it's beating me up with my ME and POTS.

Even walking to the loo takes it out of me.

Just hoping my immune system will be this focused on getting rid of the cold rather than attacking me.

...there are two spins, that roughly align with sexual preference. These spins make a glow that only someone else aligned with that spin can see.

What's more, this entire magic system is only on one layer. There are higher and lower planes, too, each with their own attributes. 2/2

The Magic Circle has a multi-layered system.

There are north and south magic poles, which create leylines that magicians can tap into.

North pole magic makes energy-based magic possible; energy fields, light, messing with minds.

South-pole is physical, creating objects.

Yet, for each pole... 1/2

Just saw a video elsewhere showing how Musk got annoyed that a tweet Biden did got more likes than his, so he called up 80 engineers at 2am to make sure his post get better traction.

And then made the algo show his tweets to people, even if they click they don't want to.

Glad I've left there.

Had a good at the demo of Map Map, a cosy cartography game, and it's genuinely so cool and chilled.

Can't wait for them to finish making the full game.

Let's face facts. For most creative people, we are our own worst enemy and critics. We just have to tell ourselves that we are awesome, what we create is incredible, and that we should love what we do and tell ourselves to stop being so hard on ourselves. 😁

Decided to go to London with my family next month, and I'm hating train tickets in UK.

You want to get to London? Gotta use a bus for some of it, which wheelchair may or may not fit on.

Can't go? Tough, you've paid and can't get a refund.

Oh, and it'll cost 100x more than driving would.
