Just once I’d like to show off a finished project I’m proud of and not have someone tell me I should turn my hobby into a business.

It took me two days, but we got there in the end! I just posted the update above in the thread ☺️

SUCCESS! It ended up taking close to 40 minutes in my washer and 10 in my dryer, but I am very happy with them now! Once they’re a smidge drier I’ll take a comparison of them on my feet lol!! #SailorSlippers #KnitSky #Knitting

Another knitting thing that feels like magic: spit splicing. You’re telling me I just turned two ends of yarn into one continuous piece? With just some moisture and friction? And now I don’t have any ends to weave in?? Magic. 🧶

It doesn’t matter how many times or how many different ways I do it, turning a heel will always feel like magic to me 🙂‍↕️✨🧶🧦 #sockknitting

I picked up this multi-colored thread at the quilt shop last weekend and then immediately hypnotized myself by sewing a spiral forever and ever and ever 🌀 absolutely obsessed with rope baskets now and I want to make 600 more!

I always forget how addicting sock knitting is. Like, from the physical movement of my hands to how quickly a row knits up to watching the yarn change color - it’s all so addicting!

I eat lunch in the back of my car every day (gotta get that fresh air before going to stare at a screen again) and today there is a man in the parking lot ruining the vibe 😒

The text “joy in the journey” is visible towards the bottom of the project, bracketed by two hearts. There is a green vine just above the text. Above that is a row of flowers with a beehive (missing one row of stitches) in the middle. There are four finished bees around the hive and one bee with just wings and no body. The letters “li” have been stitched to the left of the beehive.

Just over a week of stitching here! …after I took this and finished some of the words I realized my stitches were off by two and I wasn’t gonna be able to fudge it to make it work 🥲 already ripped out the offending section, but the project is in time out now. #crossstitch

Spent the other night knitting in the park for an outdoor concert! Managed to get a few rows done while jamming!

I’m currently working on the #TolstaTank using Eddie Bauer Adventurer Cotton - I’ve got maybe 3.5-4 inches before I start bust darts and then split for front and back!

They’re like finger massagers / fidgets! If you put one on your finger and move it up and down it’s a very nice massage! But my husband stole a bunch of mine to just keep at his desk to use as a fidget lol!

Bought an incense holder and some incense the other day and it has become such a lovely addition to my evening routine!
