Just posted a short how-to on turning Dutch NDFF biodiversity data 🌿📊 into species-richness heatmaps using QGIS and GDAL. Covers the basics: removing duplicates, filtering blurred records, dissolving per species, and rasterizing.

I just tried the latest Trilium Notes release with its redesigned interface.
It took me about 15 minutes to adjust, and now I’m sold.

Same powerful functionality, but with a calmer, cleaner look.
I suspect it’ll be much easier for new users to find their way through the many options.

Added bonus: Nextcloud comes with WebDAV. Setting it up as a storage backend for #Zotero is trivial. My Zotero library is now always with me. It just works. 🥳 #openSource

I just stumbled across the site 'Interoperable Europe.' It seems worth looking into ( https://interoperable-europe.ec.europa.eu/ ). It is an initiative of the European Commission to stimulate public sector interoperability.

There isn't much (yet) on Geo-spatial tools, but at least #grassgis is

clones in multiple locations provides both the navigational clarity of folders and the flexibility of tags.

And as a geo-fan, I really like the option to create map notes.

Always on the hunt for the ideal note-taking app. 🧠 I tried #Logseq , and while I loved the logbook, I prefer to organize my notes in a tree-like hierarchy. It helps me to keep an overview.

I therefore switched to TriliumNext ( https://github.com/triliumnext ). The option to place notes as
