There's a terrible washout on the north end of the village. Rails are still there but swinging. Railbike operation starts at the next highway crossing where the rails were removed.

The Catharine Valley Trail is the PRR from Horseheads to Watkins Glen. The Station in Watkins Glen is still a fairly authentic railroad station, not much added on. Montour Falls station is a chiro office. Horseheads station is a museum.

Penn Yan is fun. Rather a lot of tracks still, even though it's the now the terminus. Just north of there is a railbike operation. Pretty scenery it runs through, more than a green tunnel.
