Actually, I don't think body shaming terrible people is good either.

Rosencrantz tries the door, kicking it at discovering it’s locked. Footsteps are heard, receding. Guildenstern, holding his side, sits on the bed and lets out a pained breath. Rosencrantz paces, in a rage but also in thought. Moments pass, during which Guilden-stern draws himself up in his seat, wincing. Guildenstern examines himself. After a minute of this, suddenly: Rosencrantz: On what charge! Louder, at the door. On what charge! Guildenstern: Pause. Disturbing the peace? Pause. It must have something to do with the letter. Everyone was unwaveringly polite until we gave the king that letter. Rosencrantz: That means nothing, the English are always polite! Although… this country has been strange of late. Inhospitable. Guildenstern: England’s the same as it ever was. It is the English who have changed. Rosen-crantz scoffs. Poor hosts, that’s what they are

Guildenstern returns to examining his side. He gives himself a firm poke then sucks air through his teeth. Rosencrantz: Do you want me to have a look at that? Guildenstern: Why Doctor Rosencrantz, I had no idea you were so learned. No, thank you. Pause. I do believe it is broken. Rosencrantz: Which one? Guildenstern: Pokes himself up and down his side. All of them, I think. Rosencrantz: All of them? Silence as Guildenstern pokes himself up and down the side again, more deliberately. Guildenstern: All of them, aye.

Ordered a bunch of printing of my games as I have a market on Saturday and I need to stock back up. Well, every single page is misprinted, because of course! I've ordered this before with the exact same settings and it did Not come like this, and I am running a little low on time so am stressed!

I think again, you're assigning value-connotations where there aren't any. Trammell didn't say it was good, just that it is a form of play. Like kids playing a game where they hit each other is still a form of play. It's a very good book that decolonises play, but may not be for you ofc :)

I am pretty sure I didn't use any words that have any value-connotations. I wrote the game as a thought experiment/art, and didn't have enough words to put that in my initial post.

If it was my attempt to do marketing and make buzz, it's failed lol, not many views.

@homebrewandhacking.bsky.social also in my last two games, I've been exploring the idea of hostility and discomfort as still forms of play, as written in detail about by Aaron Trammell! Highly recommend his book 'Repairing Play'!

Kia ora! I hopefully didn't imply I think it is, I was just interested in what it would look like if something was designed to ensure bleed. As mentioned on the page, I don't actually think using a character made for this is a good idea, as it is quite honestly hostile game design.
