250 days until the midterm elections.

Spent like an hour and 40 minutes at the dentist this morning, and I get to do it all over again first thing next Monday morning, too. What a fun way to end winter and kind of also SUM UP the feeling of this winter. Bored, uncomfortable, hundreds of dollars poorer, stuck inside, numb.

Today was an early cardio sculpt class, then a mix of grading, lesson planning, and chores allll day, so I decided to reward myself with #Olympics speed skating. ⛸️

If I never see anther snowflake, it'll be too soon. This January-February has literally been the worst snow of my long life, even counting the 1978 blizzard. I truly don't understand snow/winter fans.

Haven't left the house since Saturday morning, and it's starting to wear on me. I really need this snow to melt, my streets to be clear, and normalcy to return.

A week from today, my spring semester finally begins. I love that my university has a long winter break, but it honestly felt almost TOO long. Remind me I said that when I’m counting down to spring break, btw. 🤓

Today was Pilates, lesson planning for spring term, errands, and ending it with pizza from a local spot. In between, trying not to scream at the vile and horrific things in this world. 😔

I’m going to try to jog 100 miles by May 30, all in 3-mile increments. I’m making a promise to myself to let go of discomfort and fear and actually jog outside before spring, ideally twice a week, but this specific plan leaves room for some weeks where it’s not possible at all. 🏃‍♀️👟🐢

Today: cardio at home, sculpt at my favorite yoga studio, then just chillaxing. Maybe dinner out. Interholiday void week continues!

Time for the interholiday void week! Had a decent set of family gatherings the past three days. Today, Pilates is the only thing on the schedule, although I’d like to begin to slowly clean my house, with the goal of finishing before the end of my break. Might shop or movie today; we’ll see!
