After Dexter passed, my greatest fear was being lonely when I was home alone. Having Dodger come into my life has been a Gods send for me. I'm so thankful he's come into my life. He's already grown attached to me. We don't quite trust each other completely yet but we are getting there.

Dodger was a brave boy this weekend. He made excellent progress overcoming his fear of people. This is him sleeping on my lap in a room full of new people.

What was it about that world that made people love it? What aspects would you bring into a magical world?

I miss the fandom of Harry Potter. That TERF of an author ruined it for everyone. I can't read the books, watch the movie, or enjoy the games based on it because she turned out to be a terrible human. It's time we had something to replace it.

I call this tiny ball mode. Dodger is 10lbs smaller than Dexter was. He reminds me so much of how Dexter was as a puppy. Same energy.

Dodger was a brave boy today. He spent his first time in the family room with all three of us while we ate lunch. From being fearful in his crate to lazing on this bed in just one week! We are so proud of him.

Day 4 - Dodger is much braver. He's realized he doesn't have to stay in his crate if he doesn't want to. He's also discovered that my office couch is the best place to sleep while I am working.

Lost my best bud and my whole world changed. Adopted a dog who has been isolated 75% of his life and my world changed again. Dodger is super sweet but he's also super shy and lacks the confidence most dogs get at a puppy. He's like an adult puppy now.

Dodger is at our place now and I made an executive decision to let him onto my bed tonight instead of making him sleep alone downstairs in his crate. I realized he's never been allowed to sleep with his person. I wonder if his confidence might improve if he's less lonely at night.

Please tell me that means you're shipping soon. It's been over a year since the crowd funding ended.

One last walk with the rescue mom before we officially adopted him tomorrow morning. Dodger is getting more used to me but still pretty shy. We are going to just let him get used to our place tomorrow and help him have the best transition that we can.

Saved myself $$$ but fixing my printer today. However, I still need a new office chair.

Just had an amazing walk with Dodger at the beach. Tomorrow, he will likely be with us for his forever home

I finished this weaving project. Essentially, I started it just before Dexter's health took a sharp dive and I just didn't have the headspace to work on it. Now that I am levelling out again, I am feeling crafty and creative again.
