Finally finished a piece I started a while back but didn't have the full idea of what I wanted when it was finished. After the most recent games in Lockstitch I finally had a good idea of what Vulpa might be thinking about these days. Also trying to get better with lighting and transparency.

We used the Codex for it and I really liked the system. It sort of reminds me of D&D or Pathfinder but with a lot of tedium taken out and seemingly very well balanced. Plus a lot more options for encounters besides beat-em up all the time. I do want to try experimenting more in the future.

Finished up first Draw Steel adventure. I had fun spinning around, dancing, cutting down kobolds, and throwing bear shaped friends at enemies. We ended up slaying the corrupted thorny dragon attacking the wode, but we'll need to work on fully curing the woods corruption in the future.

Just got done with the first part of the Draw Steel one-shot. Ended up needing to break it up to do the rest tomorrow.

But can now indeed say that throwing a furry fury at a group of enemies with a Troubarou's Chandelier Stunt is highly effective. Game feels pretty fluid overall.

They are a troubadour duelist using a dual wielder kit.

I decided I wanted to try some digital art tools. Here's what I managed to get done after learning Krita. This is a depiction of one of the dancers from Brynna's jungle. Careful, the dancer's charms make them excel at spreading the jungle fever to troublemakers.

So much for finishing moving out today. Trailer truck not only overheated but a tire exploded when retreating back to the house. Now I need to rent a U-Haul instead. So I might do some sketching tonight after I’m done cleaning since I already packed up the computer setup.

Moving has been a lot of work, but I took a break today to get some more art practice in. Most of the practice was in the color blending and shading department. I didn't put all that much in the base shape, but I think it worked out alright enough.

Had to take some time off from sketching to move boxes to new home. So a little overdo and perhaps rusty. Vulpa likes to make marionettes, so she has plenty of herself. I decided the unstrung version looked better.

Update: he remained calm and was rather relaxed after the removal. Maybe when he is feeling a bit better I can get a good picture to share.

Unfortunately I had to take my older cat to the vet because his canine tooth came partially dislodged while he was eating and now he can’t really close his mouth or eat without the tooth being removed.

I liked the crisis mechanic in Fabula Ultima. Its just a fancy way of saying effects that trigger or vanish when reaching half health such as flying enemies landing or bosses getting a buff once in crisis. I feel like it allows for evolving encounter dynamics outside of larger boss fights in lairs.

I have never seen a more adorable emote style,and I am disappointed in myself for not discovering you sooner.

They weren't kidding when they said everything about leviathans were bigger.

Maybe its time for a new tail design. With flexible segments? Unfortunately Vulpa did lose one of her tails when leaving home, but she preferred making something she'd like over trying to recover what was lost.
