So does this mean the party moves to the left? The party has yet to publicly do a serious post-mortem on this past election regardless of what has happened since election day. Sure, we'll take the House in '26...and lose again in '28. Same old story.

And yet...we lost in 2016, 2024, and probably would've lost in 2020 if not for then-current events. Something is profoundly wrong with the party regardless of aspirations. Despite Trump's misanthropic terrorism, the American people continue to vote for him. Are you saying we should move to the left?
