Yep. Sourcing facts is harder now that the regime has taken down government statistics and reports. Also, the legacy media, for all its many faults, DOES do some good work, like the NYT’s recent reporting on President Elon’s extensive conflicts of interest and his actions that benefit his companies.

I agree. But legacy media isn’t presenting facts, it ignores crimes in progress and the regime’s clear corruption (especially relating to President Elon), while it sane-washes the convicted felon. They’re like the dog in the “everything’s fine” meme: Everything’s on fire and they pretend it’s not.

LOL, no! You’re clearly in search of truth and value facts (me, too). The point I’m making is just that we all need to demand better of those who say they present facts. The legacy media has utterly failed us, and we need to demand better. That’s really all there is to it!

ONLY the convicted felon has a king’s immunity, thanks to the Republican Supreme Court. The felon can pardon the others, if they bribe him enough (also OK, says the Supreme Court), but they have no immunity unless the God-King pardons them. No one other than His Majesty the King has immunity.

“Should be” was a nice idea back in the old days. For the record, I have *always* looked at multiple sources from MANY different perspectives. But I also know that’s a conceit we can no longer afford. It’s not “sensationalism”, it’s shouting “the house is on fire”, because it is.

News, then, is what promotes the interests of corporations and their shareholders, and NOT the general public.

I don’t disagree with much of that—I used to be an activist way back when. BUT I also know legacy media is owned by corporations whose interest is NOT facts, but what promotes the interests of the corporations that own them. “Facts” are what promotes corporate interests, NOT truth.
