Since I'm feeling more normal now, I thought I'd knock out some very (very) gentle chores and put the shading down on a painting. You know that feeling when you sink into a hot bath and the steam is so nice? I was thinking of exactly that, but was too sick to do much with it until today...

I didn't chew her out, but I did reply with,"or you could buy one of mine if you'd like, here's the link to my shop". But I'm salty, dear friends. So salty.

It comes off as the people cruising the outdoor craft shows, sneering, "Oh, I could make that for so much less money!"
And no, you really can't. The labor alone would put you in the red, Madame. Trust me here.
I mean, I don't want to be discouraging, strange commenter, but could you please not copy my art? It takes about 3 separate disciplines to make even a small Guardian Eye piece, and my prices are quite reasonable if you'd like one for yourself.

At 3am I was having nightmares about zombies and civil unrest, like one does. And when I woke up, I found out we had apparently invaded Venezuela and taken their president and first lady prisoner.
It's 3 days into 2026, and I already want to send it back to the kitchen...
As an art history nerd, not only am I offended by the obvious money laundering, but also by the fact her painting is an awful copy of an Albrecht Durer painting. Obvious a roomful of rich, bigoted rubes wouldn't have gotten the reference.
