Thanks - I hope so too. Now they've retired, Morgan and Peter can get involved in local wildlife campaigns (I think she said they'd signed up to do something with bees for the summer). The tea room and the gallery were very popular but took up a huge amount of their energy and time. 😊

I love a sleep safe episode, especially if it’s from Rye Harbour. I was chatting to a good friend a few days ago. She & her husband live at Rye Harbour, right on the edge of the reserve. They ran a tea room & art gallery, although they’ve recently retired from both. I need to go & visit them again.

This is just lovely. I was awake at 4 something this morning & lay in bed listening to the dawn chorus - always so wonder-full and uplifting.

It will never cease to amaze me what sun can do to our moods. Spring shows up and all of a sudden I feel so hopeful and excited. Every year, on repeat, the same effect.
