If you're going to champion Starmer and the current LP you have to accept that some of their positions are harmful and people impacted by those positions will criticise you for it. Try listening.

I don't think the conditions exist for this to happen. There would have to be a broad consensus from the polticial establishment and the media which would mean admitting their own complicity and that realistically isn't going to happen.

It would help if every centrist who says they’d love to abolish ICE or end a genocide or protect trans people or get to universal healthcare but “you have to think about elections” would admit they just don’t want to do any of those things and are quietly fine with fascism if it doesn’t touch them.
