It is understandable
if on this occasion
(six years
since the WHO
declared Covid
a pandemic)
you find yourself
reflecting on
all you lost
in this pandemic,
but do not forget
the 7.1 million reported
(the 18.2-33.5 million estimated)
who lost all
in this pandemic.

March is #LongCovidAwarenessMonth
Despite lack of information in the media about the harm SARSCOV2 infections are doing, especially these days when most countries have reduced access to boosters significantly, SARSCOV2 hasn't become milder and #LongCovid still happens. Millions are chronically ill.

Dr. Em has a DSH cat laying across their shoulders. They are wearing black scrubs, stethoscope, and an Aura respirator.

When the clinic cat sees you are having an absolutely brutally horrible day, so he hops onto your shoulders, starts purring and head butts your face.

I hear my friends
expressing outrage
that a billionaire was asked:
β€œhow do we get rid
of poor people
as a whole,”
and at the same time
I hear my friends
calmly explain
that it’s too much bother
to wear a mask anymore,
and so I fear my friends
are doing their part
of that β€œhow.”

An airborne virus is a virus that can infect other people through unseen particles in the air, sometimes for hours after the sick person has left the area! Masks and clean, ventilated air can reduce the risk of getting sick from airborne viruses or infecting others.

Thank you for watching and sharing, it means a lot πŸ₯°
I'm sorry your cat is dealing with it, but glad you know so it can be managed as well as possible.
While I do dx CKD more frequently in older pets, I absolutely see it in young/middle aged ones as well so everyone should know what to look out for
