Dass die Kampagne gegen #BrosiusGersdorf sich als erfolgreich erwiesen hat, ist besorgniserregend. Wie ihre Entscheidung zu bewerten ist, scheint mir dabei 1 nachgelagerte Frage — zentraler ist Rolle von Politik & Medien, die dringend aufgearbeitet werden muss, damit sowas nicht zur Regel wird.

Kritik an Ministerin Bärs unsäglichen Äußerungen zu #BrosiusGersdorf kommt nun auch aus der SPD: Wiebke Esdar äußert sich angemessen deutlich zur Bedrohung der #Wissenschaftsfreiheit durch die Angriffe & zeigt sich mehr als erstaunt über mangelnde Solidarität aufseiten der Ministerin. Richtig so!

Die Politikerin, die sich hier so exponiert gegen Prof. Brosius-Gersdorf ist Bundesministerin für Wissenschaft und Forschung, mithin verpflichtet dem Schutz und Gedeihen der Wissenschaft und der Wissenschaftler:innen.

Und jetzt schreib ich weiter am Buch zur Wissenschaftsfreiheit (“ein Abgesang”).

Auf dem Smartphone checke ich die Nachrichten eigentlich nur selten, habe da zum Beispiel keine News Apps installiert, dafür besuche ich aber regelmäßig Webseiten von ÖR Sendern oder Zeitungen im Handybrowser oder am Computer.

Ich vermeide sehr visuelle Formate (wie zum Beispiel die tägliche Tagesschau) und höre die täglichen Nachrichten stattdessen als Podcast auf dem Weg zur Arbeit oder im Radio. Das 'big picture' gibt es einmal die Woche mit der Zeit ins Haus, die ich dann peu a peu lese.
