Federal Judge Orders Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino to Wear Camera, Report to Her Every Day U.S. District Court Judge Sara Ellis ordered Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino to appear in her courtroom at the Dirksen Federal Building in downtown Chicago at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Although ICE has definitely been violating the temporary restraining order, maybe because of my naivete, I'm really hopeful that will change now that Bovino will be required to appear in front of a judge at 6pm every weekday.

Cali has been very needy lately, crawling under blankets, and even once going inside my pillowcase. I realized the reason is that it's finally getting a little chilly, and she needs heat. So here she is on her heating pad!

I sit on the floor in seiza at work quite often. (I learned to sit in seiza while doing AiKiDo at New College).

I've had two different colds in the past month, one of which was very minor, and the one I'm recovering from right now, which was very major.

My very happy plant in a pot, with the lead cut off and put into a slim glass of water, because it was just growing too much.

The very same plant from 2 and 1/2 months ago, with only three extremely yellow leaves, a long Branch with no leaves coming out of it, and extremely dry roots bound up in the shape of a tiny pot.

What a difference 2.5 months make! I took this plant out of its tiny little pot, put it into a large pot with rich soil, and it's growing like crazy. So much so that I cut off the top (the apical meristem, the lead) because it's just getting too tall. The lead is now in a glass of water.
