alright, did some reading, they completed with a valid swiss warrant, swiss gov handed info over to the fbi. like like the only reason they had anything to hand over was because someone paid for the email account with a credit card instead of crypto.

even if they were, a real privacy focused company would make sure they had no identifiable data to hand over. you can't be subpoenaed for records you don't keep. that's why real vpn services don't even store logs.

i'm so confused. were they legally obligated? because if not this just shoots your own brand dead as kristi noem's dog. like, privacy and security are all their user base cares about, so this is completely baffling unless they were handed a legitimate court order.
