Baltimore Accepts Offer for Fraction of the Opioid Settlement It Sought While city officials and harm reductionists express optimism, the decision will inevitably mean scaling back overdose prevention plans.

Baltimore opts to take a deal for a fraction of the huge opioid settlement it sought to address its severe OD crisis—$152 million, vs billions.
