beautiful show with an important premise--that Beuys' practice of artistic mass production expanded and dispersed ideas beyond time and space without diluting its concept or value. His form of "democratic creativity" acted as a conduit to channel humanity toward transformation. Go see it....

The night time sprites had their way with my triptych--finishing the underpainting and leaving me with the joyous task of responding to the sounds and rhythms of the paint. All very mysterious and fun. Next time you see it, it will have arrived where it wants.

Just finished. I don't usually work this small, but yummy handmade paper is hard to resist. Very rough and absorbent -would probably have been easier if working larger since I use palette knives but I kind of liked the challenge. Following One's Nose, 2025, oil on paper, 18 x 12"h.
