Really wish people didn’t overreact to every little thing. This issue has been greatly exacerbated by social media over the years and it’s something that seems to get worse year over year. Why people make massive deals out of minor issues, when the world has so many major problems, is beyond me.

For a party that loves to rage out over “participation trophies”, Republicans certainly don’t seem to mind showing the world that their diploma or G.E.D must’ve been exactly that.

I suppose it would be nearly everything feeling like a new experience. In many ways, modern games are better, at least mechanically speaking. However, they only are due to using the games we grew up with as a foundation to build upon. Seldom does anything *truly* feel fresh today. Merely refined.

We had it so good back then, just didn’t know it at the time. Healthy competition, publishers took more risks on new IP, we got big sequels in the same generation, and hardware became cheaper as time went on.

Halcyon days.

Healthcare, education, food, shelter, and transportation are human rights and we have such an overabundance of resources, that there is no excuse for people doing without. We can’t have nice things, because Cletus from West Virginia has a bigot crash out every time a normal person comes into view.

90% of the world’s problems, which aren’t even actually problems, but things that humans of lower intelligence have decided to make into issues, would be fixed by everyone simply minding their own business.

We can’t even focus on real issues, because idiots love to create problems out of nothing.

Gamepass is getting a 50% price increase for gamepass ultimate.

They keep fucking around, I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and drop all three of them next gen. I’ll just have to buy a PC tower and leave it hooked up to my TV. That was my intention with my laptop, but I’m too lazy to connect it every time I want to play. A tower would fix that.

With all of these price increase we keep seeing on hardware, subscriptions, and games from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo…honestly PC gaming has never looked more appealing. I was leaning Xbox next gen, for the console style PC experience and still may go that route, but Microsoft is hard to support.

I disagree, but it’s certainly not worth $30. I think $20 was the upper limit.

Yeah. It’s objectively better than PS+, given the day 1 releases and quantity of games, but not $13 per month better. Xbox shot themselves in the foot with this. Gamepass ultimate was the one thing they really had over everyone else.

That’s not to say the price wouldn’t be worth it to some people, but it’s not for me.

Microsoft can go choke on a dick if they think I’m about to pay $30 a month for gamepass. Yes, it’s the best subscription service, but it’s not worth more than $20.

Honestly, it should have been obvious to me from the start, but I just realized that the Switch 2 kickstand doubles as a carrying handle (ideally while using a protective case, like mine is in). Likely why it wasn’t a solid slab like the OLED one was. It’s much sturdier than you’d assume.

I really hope FF XIV adds Dancing Green’s animations as player emotes. Missed opportunity if they don’t. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being the Fanfest exclusive emote pack. Fortunately, if that’s the case, we’ll get it on the cash shop eventually as well.

I think that’s the point that they’re at, based on recent interviews with Yoshi P.

Won’t have a choice. Yoshi P said in a recent interview that Sony has increased the file size cap, specifically for FF XIV, several times now for PS4 and they’re near the limit. So I do suspect that 8.0 will either be the last expansion on PS4 or PS4 won’t get it.

Admittedly, I am one of the many people that wanted them to cut it at DT’s launch, but given the current economic environment, now I’m not so sure. A lot of people that intended to upgrade at a price drop, now will not be able to. This is especially true in Japan. Lot of PS4 players there.

I know a lot of Final Fantasy XIV players on PC and current gen consoles want them to drop PS4 support, so the game won’t be held back by it in future expansions, but it’s important to remember that current gen consoles are now more expensive than at launch. A lot of players will be fucked.
