I use Beyers (DT831s I picked up cheap in Frankfurt 20+ years ago) for live work. Not the usual Pro choice but I like to hear every little thing as I twiddle knobs on the desk. They are ruthlessly revealing, if a little uncomfortable (hot ears) after several hours.

Yes, but mainly if there's no NM/VG+ option at a sensible price point. Almost everything I buy in charity shops would be rated no higher than VG, but is cheap, and a deep clean can work wonders. Currently using Knosti Disco Antistat, considering going ultrasonic.

I've been off work since the 12th Dec, so I wasn't sure what day of the week it is for three whole weeks. Today's a Monday though, I can feel it.

And it took two months to get to No. 1 (it came out at the end of October) - I remember hearing it at school on Radio 1 one lunchtime - we were allowed indoors because it was snowing outside. And the first version came out 18 months before that. I can't remember what I did yesterday, mind.
