yume nikki seriously changed my life's trajectory and i'm so thankful for it
i don't know if i'd be into game design if i never downloaded a cracked version of rpgmaker 2003 to try making my own fangame in middle school lmao
this is a group shot of multiple characters from yume nikki, all facing forward and walking as if in a parade. the color scheme heavily features purple, pink, and green. there is a dual-tone moire pattern serving as the background and floor. the main character, madotsuki, is in the center. surrounding her are various NPCs from throughout the game, notable ones including poniko, uboa, monoe, monoko, seccom masada, eggplant NASU, and a toriningen. other unique NPCs depicted include the yuki-onna, mafurako, shitai-san, mars-san, e-man, dave spector, famicom dwarf, a pirori, passenger, e-man, famicom demon, an eye person, a wheelie, neon parrot, the black cat, steve leif kareha, a mouth monster, a nopperabou woman, kyuukyuu-kun, and a couple mall shoppers.

following up on this, we had to cancel our project :'(
a bit disappointed cause i loved the concept we came up with (prompt is "unseen", we were making a wizard-themed point-and-click escape room), but we'll get right back on another jam soon !!
i'm the art director again so i hope i get some good inspiration like i did for the "growing" prompt

my team did really well on our last project (gwj 79's dahlia: the onion witch, got 13th overall/2nd in accessability out of 178) so i'm really hoping to keep that same momentum 🤞
