I have been thinking of all the steps and missteps by other companies that led Nexstar, at least, to where it is today

I think Nexstar has been far more effective than Sinclair, in large part because they landed Tribune

Sinclair did most of their buying from 2012-14, and most station groups that sold to them did so under duress or just because they wanted out of their investment
