Мит е, че тип 1 диабетици не трябва да ядат захар. Не е коректно да се каже, 0 промишлена захар.

Повечето тип 1 диабетици дори си носят промишлена захар в себе си, защото хипогликемията е дори по-опасна от хипергликемията.
