I often feel when people say I'm picky they're choosing to ignore all the things I heap praise onto, like I actually LOVE to love things, I do it a lot! I agree in that I just don't want to pretend, none of us should have to

part of this is a joke, right, but also in a very real way, sometimes when people tell me to settle for something, I can see the shape of the box they wish I'd just give up and cram myself into for their convenience

that's my thing, like... I'm not gonna apologize for wanting to spend my time on things I enjoy, or not lowering my bar, if other people wanna do that, go right ahead, but it isn't ME being "picky", it's often them having zero standards

I've been accused on occasion of being "picky", but that's actually not the case at all! I just don't like things that suck

maybe an electric scooter should be a serious consideration

like I refuse to conform to any industry or social standard of "you're only useful until you require accommodation; break yourself"

this is always an extremely hard weekend for me, but I'm just gonna try and keep focused and on my own bullshit

sidenote, it's been about 7 months since I moved out of a bad situation, and it's incredible to me how much has changed in a (relatively) short time, I was barely able to draw for even an hour a day, and now I'm close to back in my groove. I know a lot of people helped me and I'm still VERY grateful
