The reality in Alberta right now:
• Measles cases 6x higher than the rest of Western Canada combined
• Highest youth unemployment in the country at 17.2%
• Separatist talk driving economic uncertainty
• Soaring utility and insurance costs

This is what happens when ideology outweighs leadership.

I'm so tired of Danielle Smith's fabrications. At a time when Canadians should be coming together to stand up to the bully to the south, she sows division. We need a general election in Alberta now or, failing that, at least by-elections in the 3 vacant riding. Bring it on!

An excellent, if worrisome, panel discussion. Right now, we have approximately 50% of the doctors and hospital beds we need for our current population. The NDP is actually doing the work to create a Healthcare policy and plan to rectify this. UCP has NO PLAN.

I'm worried this is just Smith setting up her lies to call a snap election this fall. She denies all sorts of things until after she's elected.

Progressive Alberta candidates will have “Fanjoy” to get elected. Start at least 2 years before an election (or preferably now) and work it at the doors. Maybe if people see we are not two-headed monsters, they can feel more at ease. Our provincial riding was turned orange in this way.

The problem is, in Alberta, they don't even TRY to be educated about policy. Their brother's cousin worked in the oil patch and voted Conservative and, by gum, so do I. Like mid-western Trump voters who are now feeling the pain of his policies, rural Albertans still vote against their own interests.

This hits the mail on the head… Danielle Smith needs to go!

Now, all the Liberal candidates who lost by a few thousand votes have to emulate Bruce Fanjoy and start knocking on doors in their ridings. They need to show their constituents that they are a good solution to voting for the same old conservative candidate, who hasn’t done anything for them.
