Much like us, Lansdowne is a crusty product of the 1970s that has been patched up and rode hard. I think that is why old skaters flock to it. Every time I get to session there I am humbled and end up bleeding from somewhere. Completely worth it.

Stupidfest, for its ups and downs, is over as a large experiment. We went from 1500 users to maybe 15 or 20 of us that are, at its core, part a brotherhood and part a cult.

We will birth something new, something different, something meaningful. Until then, keep skating. Never stop.

We are going to go out on a limb here and guess the price of a complete setup, brand new skateboard is about to make the practice of focusing a deck (breaking the skateboard on purpose) a thing of the past. Lots of 90s skaters will mourn the end of this ritual.
