I’d be highly skeptical of a man’s ability to be a good partner to his significant other if he is incapable of being platonic friends with women.

I don’t see how a man would be capable of supporting his partner as a whole person without being able to see women, in general, as whole people.

Black queer resistance—simply being one’s authentic self—has always come at a steep cost. Which is why we should never shy away from shining bright and taking up space.
