Soon I should be in therapy proper, I’m moving in a positive direction and yeah I still have my days where the old fantasy takes hold, or new possibilities feel threatening but generally I’m moving to be a better version of myself that loves himself as much as he loves others.

I neglected a lot about myself for years chasing some sort of fantasy, pulling myself out of it an accepting my life for what it is, but trying to see the small successes and moments of beauty for myself is something I’m honestly grateful to learn and start to see.

Like some things like daily showering has slipped but I keep trying to go outside. I may struggle with consistent sleep but I have been sticking to a calorie deficit. I’ve had issues keeping my desk clean but I’ve kept up with the laundry.

Since I finally saw that state I’d gotten to a few weeks ago I tried to change EVERYTHING at once, it’s something I often do to myself and others, these BIG MASSIVE gestures of energy then back to burnout. I’m hoping by tweeting about this that maybe this time I don’t fall back completely.

Initially a few weeks ago I was waking up every morning, doing a ton of self care and keeping everything clean.

In the last two weeks I’ve slipped a little bit, I defo feel less energy to do better but, I’m recognising that’s okay. I’m still trying in places and I’ll get there eventually.

So I looked in the mirror today and genuinely felt good, after a few weeks I’m finally starting to see the weight drop, I noticed my face is already looking a bit thinner, not by a lot but enough to see change.

Slowly starting to really show myself the love I deserve <3
