Hot take I know but this Metal Gear Solid game is quite good.

Him and nux taku and tectone and their entire ecosystem of grifting ilk need to be completely shut out from having any credibility among gaming and anime fandoms. They actively harm discourse and inject toxicity to defend their perversion and far right beliefs.

He likes throwing out the tourist allegation at anyone who is unsettled by some of the weird shit in anime when in reality he is a tourist. He doesn’t care about anime at all beyond creating and farming outrage around it.

Chibi Reviews talking about some “separate fiction from reality” when it comes to drawn cp but then makes his life an ntr hentai.

A bit. He’s a reactionary anime fan who basically just farmed outrage on twitter to supplement his dying YouTube career.

Not counting movies in this, just tv series.

Odd Taxi is probably the sleeper hit of the decade. An incredibly well crafted mystery series with many intersecting plot lines that culminates in a truly mind blowing finale, yet it leaves all the clues for the viewer to pick up on. It's premium stuff.

We are now in an era that feels like an animation arms race and I think Jujutsu Kaisen continues to reign supreme on that front. Some of my favorite action cuts of all time. It's still only getting better with the newest season. There is more to the characters than people give it credit for.

Takopii's Original Sin is a cute little bundle of misery and abuse. Not a show for those sensitive to child abuse or neglect. A truly uncomfortable and sometimes grueling watch that will ruin your week, yet it comes out the other side hopeful. Also has incredible animation and direction.

Dandadan is pure fun. Everything about it is fun and it seems to only get more fun. Incredible animation and music. Both MCs are lovably insufferable dumbasses and they have great romantic chemistry.

Made In Abyss season 2 is one of the most impressive productions in any anime in this decade, seriously underrated in that front. Also has one of the best soundtracks of all time. Remains one of the most unique worlds to explore in any property, and one of the most gross and terrifying.

Re:Zero is probably the best isekai of all time. Season 2 is an dark and hazy maze that truly tests Subaru, a character who it can really be a battle to root for. Yet he emerges triumphantly, with every bit of his growth being earned. Season 3 shows of that growth in spectacular fashion.

Another masterpiece from Imaishi and Studio Trigger. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is one of the best spin offs to any piece of media ever. A tragedy that has much to say on what a future world could look like. Probably the biggest surprise of the decade.

I found the final season of AoT to be some of the most captivating material of one of the most entertaining pieces of media of all time. Seemingly a different type of show completely from everything before it yet it just makes sense. The ending isn't perfect but I left satisfied.

Vinland Saga season 2 is another obvious choice. An incredible piece of historical fiction that deals with a lot of heavy topics that are still relevant today. Lots of new characters that offer interesting perspectives in a much slower yet just as gripping season.

Frieren is an obvious choice but good reason. It simply exceeds flawlessly at everything it does. I expect it to remain in my top 10 for this decade quite easily. Very comforting show. Some of the best background art and music in modern anime. The show is timeless just like Frieren herself.

Top 10 Anime of the Decade thread. I expect it to change a lot by the end of the year so I want to see where I am at now.
