His expression is not sorrowful, but rather one that suggests that he sees beyond that which lies in front of him.

I have a bit of a complicated relationship with this sketch - this was created not long after my father was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. Seeing his mind and memory become more fragmented stayed with me, and this was the result.

One of the perks of shifting over to Bluesky from the Dantean dumpster fire that is Meta is that it’s giving me a chance to curate some of my older works, so hopefully I’ll be posting some more here too!

Unfortunately, when you have an hour or more commute one-way to work, you do tend to have to find ways to keep yourself occupied 😅
