Alex Holladay ran in 2024 and lost by two points.

He just won by … 27. In Arkansas.

The 37-hour bombing campaign of Iran in June cost an estimated $2.25 billion total.

We really just wanted healthcare.

He ran on stopping wars and decreasing prices and releasing files.

He’s started wars, increased prices, and hidden files.

He commits impeachable offenses daily. If not hourly.

Impeach, remove.

The sun is up earlier, my crocuses are blooming, it’s going to be 70 degrees today, and my feed is full of 💙 running in 🔴 places.

Feels like the end of a lot of things. And the beginning of something amazing.

That’s why “Affordability” means universal healthcare, universal childcare, universal elder care, and universal education.

As we lose our collective patience with fascists & mean people, worth remembering:

That community founded on shared values can be built with literal strangers on a random Friday night - even in a red state.

And that there are so many ways to speak out, stand up, and be heard.

Everyone I could see was smiling.

Musicians and comics and writers and audience members from who knows where - all singing our hearts out for justice and democracy.

It was such a simple thing, but so meaningful.

I live in a blue area of a red state.

On Friday night I went to a local open mic night. The first performance wasn’t a song so much as a lesson.

Kathy decided to teach us a protest song from Justice Choir.

We learned it line by line. And then we all sang it together. Gave me chills. 1/

And also: “They won’t take away no-fault divorce.”

Oh dear.

Well, for starters, Eric is from the suburbs. Which is maybe why he doesn’t know how to wear cowboy boots…

Even knowing everything I know, seeing this laid out so simply is breathtaking.

New life hack. Now when I’m fussy that I can’t sleep I just remember that I’m not alone.

It feels good to be proud.

This was a hold - a blue seat in a district that Trump won in ‘24, so the best opportunity for the GOP to grab a seat. So it’s a massive overperformance even if the result isn’t an upset.

Massive Dem enthusiasm is clear!

Last night in Louisiana, Democrats held a state leg seat in a district *Trump* won by 13 points in 2024.

And it wasn’t close.

Last weekend it was Taylor in Texas. This week Chasity in Louisiana.

There are likely additional layers of criming…

When they say theirs is the most transparent administration in history, they’re not actually wrong.

They aren’t hiding the criming.

The fraud and the grift are out in the open for all to see.

The first male reporter who follows up one of Trump’s misogynistic rants with a deluge of questions about why he would disparage a member of the press corps like that will get a standing ovation from American women.

He gives you opportunities all the time. Take the next one.
