I just ruined my rotating clothes line. It fell over, so I unlocked it in the middle and took it apart and with the pole in the ground I had the genius idea to smack it down several times with a brick.

It's now bent and completely ruined.

Governments have repeatedly proven themselves to be lairs when it comes to it's citizens personal data - See GCHQ’s TEMPORA program. There is no way to tell that they wont force these companies to store your data behind the scenes.

And before any "Ummm acktually!"'s me, when it comes to age verification, I am well aware that pronhub, reddit, whatever do not store your personal data, the company doing the check also claims to only store a "over 18" or "under 18" flag that can be shared. Sadly I do not trust that at all.

Ive set up a small vm in gcp and made it a tailscale exit node because I refuse to hand over my ID to random websites. This measure by the government is very easy to get around and will expose people to ID theft. GJ @teamlabouruk.bsky.social

Be vigilant. The UK government is trying to introduce legislation which lowers the voting age to 16. That, I am fine with, but the media will try and spin it badly because included in the bill are tighter rules on political donations. No foreign nationals, no shell companies etc etc, all good things
