George joined BUFF ten years ago and has been on the programming team for the past seven.

George shares "At the risk of hyperbole, I think independent film is one of the few bulwarks against, y'know, all the horror."

Ben Sunday is a co-chair of the Harvard Asian Pacific Islander Desi Association of Faculty and Staff (HAPIDA), through which he organizes short and feature film screenings exploring intersections between AAPI cultures and other minoritized identities.

Kim Baillargeon shares "I went from hosting BUFF at The Brattle for many years when I was their Operations Manager to being on the BUFF management team and it’s such an honor. I am so excited to be part of this awesome, weird, and daring film festival."

Written and directed by Natalie Erika James (“Relic”), “Saccharine” is a stomach-churning horror movie that keeps the intensity high – think body horror in the vein of “The Substance” with a haunting dash of “It Follows.”

Billy Thegenus is a film programmer at the Coolidge, a house manager at the Brattle, a movie trivia co-host at the Crystal Ballroom, and a staff member with IFFBoston. This is his first year with the BUFF team and he's an all around cool dude.

Mark Anastasio has worked in film exhibition for almost 20 years and is currently in the role of Artist Director at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. He is proud to continue to add to BUFF's incredible Boston film legacy as its new Artistic Director.
