Hannah Spencer has won Gorton and Denton for the Greens in the party’s first-ever parliamentary by-election victory, defeating Labour in its long-time stronghold, it is being reported.

What a fascinating story. I hope I can get hold of the translation when it's out.

Impressive principled stance, considering China, USA and Vietnam all abstained.

I agree a lot of the confusion is over its misnomer as a 'romance'- hell no! There are plot holes but as to writing it off as a mess, I'd prefer to describe it as dodging literary conventions, many of which hadn't even been established yet.
