As for obituaries, you have to consider the distinct possibility that there isn't one for either of them. You may want to focus on death records, etc...

Do you know about when or where they most likely died?

Birth dates and marriage date can be found on his natz records. (Always take with a grain of salt as birth dates on natz can often be incorrect)

I do not have first-hand, personal knowledge about the company. If that watch is all sterling silver, it is pretty valuable. Not the actual watch, but for the silver. You might want to seek out an antique jeweler in your area for more information. Be cautious.

I am constantly reminded that, often times, people are MUCH closer in real life than a family tree might otherwise indicate.

So, research those siblings and inlaws like crazy. Never assume some person is too far afield - you just never know.

Hi #GenHour. I have a technical Q. I'm looking at my mtDNA results. Mutations are all recorded AnnnnnD (A is Ancestral, nnnnn is the location, D is the Derived value). Most of the Derived values are upper-case, but some are recorded with lower-case letter e.g. C16259g.What does lower-case indicate ?

I am now quite literally all over the map. There's a pun in there somewhere. 🤪
