"Regret" presents Beatrice, a character from the animated series Over the Garden Wall. Beatrice was cursed after throwing a rock at a bluebird: all her 12 relatives, as well as her, were transformed into bluebirds. The illustration shows us her transformation, looking in shock and crying as her right arm transforms into a bird's wing. She stands in front of a dark forest, the deep orange of autumn slowly being consumed by cyan and blue. Flying around her and into the forest we spot 12 bluebirds. The illustration also brings a foot frame, with four pumpkins and Enoch - another character, the ruler of Potsfield - in the center.

Hi, I'm Manuel and I make mostly spooky art using charcoal and digital means!

That's actually a good suggestion because I've wasted quite a few watercolor paper sheets already, and those aren't cheap 😭 Art is definitely not something that can be forced, so I've put away my brushes for now. The wait is hard though...

Thank you! You're too kind 🥹 I think those screwed up artwork were just straight up not well done, but I agree that looking at them a year from now might bring some new feelings!

In the past few days I've been desperately wanting to create art, but when I picked up the brush, I either ended up scrolling through Pinterest for hours to decide what to paint, or I screwed up the artwork over and over again. Maybe I should keep those failed pieces anyway and name them "Anxiety".
