As requested by some of you, we just added a "sign-out" endpoint to the API, so you wont need for token expiration

If you have not moved your SoundCloud apps to OAuth 2.1, please to avoid your apps breaking!
This includes changing all authentication calls to secure.soundcloud.com from deprecated endpoints on api.soundcloud.com !

(5/6) We’re making a formal commitment that any use of AI on SoundCloud will be based on consent, transparency, and artist control.

(4/6) We don't know what we don't know, and we have a responsibility to give our human artists the opportunities, choices and control to advance their creative journeys.

(3/6) With the landscape changing rapidly, if there is an opportunity to use generative AI for the benefit of our human artists, we may make this opportunity available to our human artists with their explicit consent, via an opt-in mechanism.

SoundCloud doesn't use artist content to train AI. We block scraping and added a “no AI” tag to prevent misuse. If we ever consider using content for AI, we’ll offer clear opt-out mechanisms in advance—at a minimum—and remain committed to transparency with our creator community.
