I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Talking about the quote in particular, socialists who are atheist are easy to criticise but the ones who can use religious principles to justify their economic model will have more appeal among masses and criticising them is a task.

In the book, there is some background to this assertion.

But I think, even though religions preach equality they are bound to create/adopt structures that lead to inequality. Moreover, a socialist who is religious is no doubt a well intended person but he has still not come of age.

It is highly unlikely in the current scenario that UT gov will be able to reduce the reservation percentage but a cap/upper limit is indeed required. There has to be a rational basis on the basis of population of each category.
