If you are looking to situate me in NerdSpace, I am dizzy with the mindless pleasure of having purchased Shadow Ticket on its release date, festooned with my W.A.S.T.E lapel pin

The @mayormarksutcliffe.bsky.social and I were pleased to welcome to Council for a performance of the national anthem students from Nepean High and their teacher Jeannie Hunter. It rocked!

As the decades wear on it’s ever clearer that we’re living in a Thomas Pynchon novel. One more is an unexpected gift. Come on, Nobel Academy, you don’t have too much longer to do the right thing.

Though numbers are small, every patient who was MRD positive at baseline had DFS event.
Rather than longer treatment, could one argue for treating these people like asymptomatic metastatic: close surveillance and initiate therapy at the time of measurable/symptomatic disease?

I think TKIs can be excellent palliative agents, but are less useful in curative settings. The very best of them are debatable as adjuvant treatment, and will struggle more in neoadjuvant where the duration of exposure is shorter.

I don’t know what these are called, but a similar idea showing the change over time of relative proportions that add up to 100%

An important and informed commentary on a specific GBM vaccination protocol, and on the general topic of experimental treatments administered outside clinical trials.
