I'm worldbuilding a weird, magical, western wasteland, and i think it's looking pretty nice! though i still want to make a typical arid badlands world 😖

3 panel comic page: first a manticore looks down at two bounty hunters falling into a junk pile. Second panel, the manticore is descending the junk pile. The third panel our main 4 cast (a sphynx, a human, a giant and a minotaur) are in the foreground already running as the manticore starts after them in the background. The human, August, says, "O-okay! So what do we know about manticore?!"

4 panels. First panel: The minotaur, Brick, says, "they're fast." Second panel, the sphynx (Heti), even more panicked, "They're supposed to be fucking Extinct!" The third panel the giant (Ande) grins with an index finger held up and says, "You can pop their tails off like a lizard!" The fourth panel shows the whole group looking at Ande, stunned.

Four panels. First panel: Ande looks embarrassed and says, "If you c-can get to it... ah... silly idea!" Second panel: August grins and says, "No! That's great. We can work with tha--" and is cut off with two arrows shot, acting as the panel border with the sound effect: WHOOSH around August looking shocked, "ACK!" The final panel is of the two arrows hitting dirt with sound effects: Tak! Tak!

Full page bleed with 4 panels: The first two are of August reacting to the arrows on the previous page, first shocked, then annoyed. The third 'panel' is the page bleed that the other panels are overlayed, the bounty hunters are in the foreground, a sphynx and a gorgon holding crossbows. The group from earlier is in the mid-ground as August screams, "Shoot the manticore!!" The last panel is the gorgon looking irritated and saying, "That manticore ain't our bounty, you are."

Oh hey #meetthewebcomic ! We run a few of those but this one is the one coming back in Jan? Feb?
