My take on Nigerian-style buns. Used overripe bananas, flour, baking powder yogurt, ground cinnamon & ginger, sweetened with stevia, to make a dough that I fried in canola oil. This was to satisfy nostalgic longing for Nigeria, where buns are street food, & party staples part of the "small chops."

I’m grateful and thankful enough to have loved so many times. Met so many amazing people. Touched some hearts. Helped some kids become better kids. I’ve lived so many different lives by 30 and I’m thankful for them all. Some never got a chance to.

The other day I seriously sat with myself and accepted that I may not have a tribe. I may not have a partner that is meant for me. I might not be meant for kids or a family. And that is okay. I think I’d be fulfilled just traveling and being rich.
