Air Lore is so fucking good. The Blythe is interesting, Abdul Wadud on cello. The guitar player reminds me too much of a better version of myself to really enjoy him. Very different takes on Monk tunes. Good record. A Fickle Sonance is a classic. It even features a Monk tune stolen by Sonny Clark.

That time I did but then of course it pushes something the 4th and 5ths on B and G out. I think I generally go about 10 cents flat on the B so there's some equilibrium there. What a pain in the ass, lol. But once you hear a just 3rd you can never un-hear it.

I always tune by ear because of this. One day a while back I checked it after with a tuner and I had been tuning my B string about 14 cents flat. It's a real balancing act to get a guitar to be kind of in tune but you have to have a pretty decent ear.
