the world needs you, and your effort, and your compassion, more than ever. i wholeheartedly hope that the thralls of the world will never snuff your light

- i find it so important to use the skills and knowledge i have as an act of defiance. i enjoy making art, yes, and despite all the exhaustion i feel right now, im inspired and driven to create bc i think the world needs it

i enjoy making art bc its a hobby, it brings me joy. i may have set expectations for myself to make something out of it & found despair bc the work it required grated against the passion i originally had. but in a world where skills and literacy are being so heavily suppressed-

bc ultimately something gotta be done between the common person against the forces of evil. and as im feeling so much despair & fatigue, i still feel empowered by the struggle that surrounds me TO persist.

i spend a lot of my very limited free time engaging w media that criticizes the system in a very casual but nuanced way, and it makes me feel more confident that not everyone is completely polarized. i think its important we all can communicate & work w each other, even if its not the most pleasant

& my current boss preferred i just leave now, and its got me feeling so disposable in a world that disregards the humanity behind the labor that makes the world go round.. such as life as its currently written though, so what can you do?
